The documents banks usually ask for.

A complete document pack is the simplest way to avoid delays. Choose a loan type to see what salaried, self-employed and business applicants typically need.

Documents checklist

What to prepare

Typical requirements. Individual banks may ask for more depending on your profile. Select a loan type to see the checklist.

Salaried

  • MyKad (front and back)
  • Latest 3 months salary slips
  • Latest 3 months bank statements
  • EPF statement or EA form

Self-employed

  • MyKad (front and back)
  • SSM business registration
  • Latest 6 months business bank statements
  • Latest tax return (Form B) and receipt

Before you send anything

Make sure copies are clear and complete, with every page of each statement included. Blurred or cropped pages are a common cause of delay.

Bank statements should show your name, account number and the salary or business income being declared. If your income comes from commission or several sources, bring the supporting records for each.

Banks may ask for additional documents during their assessment. We will tell you what is needed and why before you send anything, and we only share your documents with a partner bank once you have agreed to the submission.

Check Eligibility

Check your eligibility

Share a few details and a consultant will review which of our partner banks fit your profile. No fees are charged to submit an enquiry.

Preferred contact

Submitting an enquiry does not create an application. Approval remains with the bank.
